Using UA-101 Control Panel
Menu
"Driver" menu
- Driver Settings
- Opens the "Driver Settings" dialog box. In the "Driver Settings" dialog box you can adjust the buffer size and timing of the driver. For details on each item, refer to the "Driver Settings" dialog box.

- Always displays UA-101 Control Panel in front of other windows.

- About Driver & Control Panel
- Displays the software version of the UA-101 driver and UA-101 Control Panel.

- To Uninstall Driver
- Displays information about how to uninstall the UA-101 Driver.

- Exit
- Exits UA-101 Control Panel.

"Device" menu
- Set PATCH BAY
- Opens a dialog box where you can make Patch Bay settings.

- Load Memory of Device
- Loads settings from the memory of the device.

- Store Memory of Device
- Stores settings into the memory of the device.

- Reset Device
- A dialog box will appear, allowing you to restore the device settings to the initial condition.

- Select Device
- Selects the device for which you want to make settings.

"Panel" menu
- Cursor
- Left CH./Right CH.
- Moves the cursor location to left or right.
- INPUT MONITOR 1, ... 10, OUTPUT MONITOR 1, ... 10, MONITOR OUT 1,2
- Moves the cursor location to the specified channel.

- MONITOR
- On/Off
- Switches MONITOR on/off at the cursor location.
- INPUT MONITOR 1, ... 10, OUTPUT MONITOR 1, ... 10
- Switches MONITOR on/off for the specified channel.

- SOLO
- On/Off
- Switches SOLO on/off at the cursor location.
- INPUT MONITOR 1, ... 10, OUTPUT MONITOR 1, ... 10
- Switches SOLO on/off for the specified channel.

- PAN
- Adjusts PAN at the cursor location.

- VOLUME
- Adjusts VOLUME at the cursor location.

- LINK
- On/Off
- Switches LINK on/off at the cursor location.
- INPUT MONITOR 1-2, ... 9-10, OUTPUT MONITOR 1-2, ... 9-10, MONITOR OUT 1-2
- Switches LINK on/off for the specified channel.

- Reset setting
- Reset panel settings.

Panel
MONITOR
You can make the following adjustments for each channel of INPUT MONITOR 1-2, ..., 9-10, OUTPUT MONITOR 1-2, ... , 9-10, and MONITOR OUT (L/R).
- SIGNAL
- Lights when signals are input or output via the various channels.

- ON/OFF
- Switches MONITOR on/off.

- SOLO
- Switches SOLO on/off.

- PAN
- Drag the mouse to left/right to adjust PAN.

- VOLUME
- Drag the mouse up/down to adjust VOLUME.

- LINK
- Specify whether MONITOR on/off, SOLO, and VOLUME will be stereo-linked.

- Cursor
- This is the yellow line upper the LINK button. Use the keyboard of your computer to edit the values at the cursor location. For the key assignments, refer to the "Panel" menu.

Device Panel
This is displayed the bottom of the Panel window. It shows the state of the UA-101 front panel settings. From the left, this contains the following items.
- Device select buttons
- These select the device.

- SAMPLE RATE
- Indicates the sampling frequency of the current device.

- CLOCK
- Indicates the type of synchronization clock for the current device.

- DIRECT MONITOR
- MONO
- This will light if DIRECT MONITOR is set to monaural.
- SOFT CTRL
- This will light if DIRECT MONITOR settings can be adjusted from this control panel or ASIO-compatible application. If this is unlit, you can't perform DIRECT MONITOR operations.
Dialog
"PATCH BAY" dialog box
Specifies the output source for each OUTPUT.
- Preset PATCH BAY
- Hard Thru
- "Hardware-thru's" the input from each INPUT to each OUTPUT.
- Initial setting
- Sends the output of each WAVE OUT to each OUTPUT.
"Load Memory of Device" dialog box
Loads settings from the memory of the device.
"Store Memory of Device" dialog box
Stores settings into the memory of the device.
"Reset Device" dialog box
Select the items that you want to restore to their initial settings.
